static-page-header-text-does-not-show-page-name-but-rather-lists-the-items-in-my-shop-clubfashion

I am looking for some help. On my site, the homepage is a static page for my shop. When I have the shop as just a regular page the header says shop, however when I make the page my static default page it starts to list all of the items in my shop up in the header instead of just saying shop. Any ideas?
